Chris is an accomplished German-American DoP based in Berlin.
He studied cinematography at the world-renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and since graduating in 2016, his work has gained recognition internationally with nominations and wins at commercial and narrative film festivals such as the Max Ophüls Preis, First Steps Award, Spotlight Festival, and Prague International Film Festival.

He works on both narrative fiction for TV and streaming as well as commercials, shooting for clients such as Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Commerzbank, Jules Mumm, Lidl, Becks, Deutsche Bahn, Flixtrain, and Tencent.

His passion for cinematography has been growing steadily over the last 2 decades, which is reflected in his unshakable work ethic, attention to detail, as well as his acute understanding of the constantly rising & changing demands of today’s production landscape. 
Owning and operating his own Steadicam since 2007 has been invaluable to countless productions over the years.
